Overseen by producer Twit One the project features beats from Suff Daddy, Hulk Hodn, Kankick, Hubert Daviz, Retrogott, DJ Adlib, V.Raeter, Tobrock, Noyland, and others. The album is available as a limited run of 500 vinyls and digital download.

A little while back we posted the video of Suff Daddy’s “5 O’Clock Stuff” off of “The Gin Diaries” well last week the album dropped and while it took me a while to get my hands on a copy, it was well worth the hunt. All you need to know about Suff Daddy is explained in the first few lines from his MPM records page, “The Gin Diaries” are about beats, love and Tanqueray. Suff Daddy is a gentleman who knows about the good life: Jamaican Kush, rare soul records and beautiful women make his day. I told Matterafact about this ill instrumental record I picked up at Gramaphone a few weeks back, and apparently I’ve been holding out on y’all and I apologize.  Blackheartman just posted Vol. 2 in MPM Record’s Hi-Hat Club series, so if you liked that one be sure to cop Vol. 3 which features the Germany-based producer/dj/mc Dexter getting jazzy on the hip-hop instrumental tip.  More on the series and Dexter at The MPM website .  Don’t sleep on this label!
