What production gear do you use?
For several years I used the MPC 2000XL, Roland Fantom, Roland JV-1080, Pro Tools, and some dusty hand-me-down Stanton turntables with a Vestax mixer. I created most of my releases with that setup. More recently I started replacing the MPC and the turntables with NI Maschine and Traktor Kontrol, and I’ve been very happy with the results.

After seeing Fresh Daily’s new video for “Thanx” i’ve been waiting to hear what he would come up with next. Check out Fresh’s new album Mothership/L A N D for free download on his bandcamp. The album features production by Devonwho, Flying Lotus, J Dilla, Samiyam, Flyamsam, Scott Freebass, Hi-Res, Melo-X, MNDSGN, Benamin, Calvin The Genius, and DJ Mentplus. It’s defiantly fresh front to back, some dope tracks! Listen below. .
